 In 1963, John Meyer started Meyer Tree Service, Inc. The company’s primary areas of operation were tree trimming, right-of-way clearing, and tree spraying services. In the late 1960’s, the company added buried cable and conduit construction to its portfolio of services. Throughout the 1970’s the company continued its expansion into telecommunication services. In 1980, Meyer Tree Service, Inc. became Meyer Services, Inc. as the company continued its evolution into a multifaceted provider of a wide array of telecommunications construction and utility related services. One thing that has not changed over the years is our commitment to hard work, honesty, integrity, and top-notch customer service. These values are continued today in this second-generation family-run business. It is these values that make our company strong and allow us to continue our dedication and commitment to our customers today, tomorrow, and for years to come.
Meyer Services, Inc. has experience in all types of utility installations—both inside and outside plant. Our buried services include plowing, trenching, directional boring, and backhoeing. Our underground services include innerduct placement, manhole & handhole installation, rodding & cleaning, pipe bursting, trenchless replacement methods, cable pulling, and cable blowing. Our aerial services include fiber optic, copper, innerduct and co-ax placement, pole setting, strand installation, lashing, guy & anchor placement, and removal of existing aerial plant. We also offer splicing services for copper, fiber and co-ax. To perform all of these tasks, we have our own fleet of well maintained, state-of-the-art equipment and vehicles.
Meyer Services, Inc. is able to offer such a wide array of services because of the experience of its personnel. We provide our customers a team of talented and knowledgeable personnel to deal with their unique needs and concerns.
